Prep for Your Shoot
We need a plan going into your session!
I'm not about just taking a gallery of pictures and leaving you on your own to figure out what to do with them.
We'll make a plan for how you want to enjoy your portraits, and design your session accordingly. From the colors of your outfits to the perfect location.
We will discuss "all-the-things" for your big day - location ideas, outfit inspo, you name it!

When session day arrives, you will start off being pampered and getting your hair and makeup done by one of my fantastic makeup artists.
With everyone dressed in beautifully styled outfits, I will guide you into poses and give candid prompts so that we can capture your family with all the love and affection you share.
Don't worry - I will get plenty of lovely options for you to choose from to hang on the walls of your home or cherish in a beautiful heirloom album!

Design & Ordering Appointment
About 1-2 weeks after your session, you will get to see your images for the first time!
I will be there to help you choose the perfect images for your wall art or album. I'm happy to help!
All orders will be placed and paid for at this appointment so we can get your order into production right away!

Hand delivered memories that are delivered to your home and even installed for you (because who needs DIY??)
I know how overwhelming it can feel to have to choose the images that look best together, figure out the sizes and where to print them, choose the perfect frames and then have to actually hang them on the wall!
Let me take all of that off your plate so you can sit back, relax and enjoy seeing your beautiful photos on display in your home.

Just your family, and food for baby! I also HIGHLY recommend bringing a pacifier.
The studio has all the props, wraps, headbands that we will need. If you have a special heirloom you want to bring, that is perfectly fine.
Absolutely! Having siblings and parents in the photos is important. These are precious memories we are recording and the whole family is welcome to be a part of it.
The sooner the better! We will schedule you based on your due date, and know that we may need to adjust the date depending on when baby is born.
Plan for the session to last 2 hours. That being said, I am a baby-led photographer so we will follow your baby's cues. When baby needs a break, we will take a break. So I would say 2 hours, give or take.
I prefer to photograph baby between 5-10 days old. If your baby has passed this age, I do happily accept older newborns as well.
