Newborn photography is my favorite. This family was so much fun to work with! They were only here for a month, visiting the nice weather and spending time with family, and I was lucky enough to be their newborn photographer! Little Samantha was almost a month old, and at first she wasn’t too sure she wanted anything to do with having her picture taken. But I think she was just tired, because she finally fell asleep and boy, was she OUT! She turned into a little rag doll and we were able to move her around and she didn’t even bat an eye. I’m glad we got a couple of shots with her looking at us before she sacked out, though. I love capturing eye contact with babies! Just makes your heart melt.
During this session we capture many tender moments between mom, dad, and baby. Newborn photography isn’t just about the newborn-it’s also preserving that bond between parents and their new little love.
THAT is what makes newborn photography so awesome!

Sally is a Mesa newborn photographer and motherhood portrait artist serving Phoenix, Chandler, Scottsdale, Gilbert, and Tempe. With over a decade of experience photographing maternity, newborns, babies, and families, she specializes in making tired, busy moms feel completely taken care of — from outfit planning all the way to choosing the perfect artwork for your walls. A mom of six herself, she knows how fast these little seasons go, and she’s on a mission to make sure your family’s story gets preserved in a way you’ll actually hold onto. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s probably wrangling her own crew and wishing someone would bring her a Diet Coke.
