Most of the babies I photograph are newborns. Very newborn, like a month old or younger. So, although I consider myself an Arizona Newborn Photographer I was actually super excited to work with a 4 month old princess. Why? Because I knew that at that age she would be really smiley and not have much “stranger-danger” going on yet. That meant I could hold her and play with her and she wouldn’t be scared of me. Woohoo!
I was pleasantly surprised when I showed up and her mama answered the door. Hello, gorgeous! She had gone all out and had her makeup and hair professionally done for her portrait session. I mean, I had suggested she be prepared to be in some of the photos, but this was above and beyond! Talk about impressed! I love it when clients take their photo sessions seriously and follow my advice with their preparations. It makes being an Arizona Newborn Photographer so much easier because things run smoothly. Let’s hear it for smooth portrait sessions! Yesssssss.
Well, I had a great time working with Maria and her mother. Daddy came home from work just in time to make it a family session, which was awesome! I decided to make a super short video that I could post on Instagram. Guess who hasn’t figured how to post a video on Instagram yet? Yeah… So I’m posting it here for now. 🙂
Maria even decided to fall asleep so we got some really sweet sleeping shots of her. Let’s hear it – “awwwwwww!”
